On behalf of the company, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Airconditioning Engineer to join our team, with extensive knowledge of split systems, ducted air conditioning, VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume), and multi-split systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing HVAC solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Develop HVAC system designs, including split, ducted, VRV, and multi-split systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and client satisfaction.
Oversee installation projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with clients and team members to meet timelines and quality standards.
Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting for system failures, and recommend technical solutions to optimize system performance.
Develop and execute maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and longevity.
Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, maintaining detailed documentation for all projects.
Conduct regular performance tests on HVAC systems, analysing results to recommend adjustments or improvements for optimal system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and energy-efficient HVAC solutions to implement innovative practices and elevate service standards.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in HVAC engineering with a focus on split, ducted, VRV and multi-split systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
Capable of overseeing projects, managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with clients, team members and contractors.
Ability to analyse thermal loads and energy efficiency to optimize system performance.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $75,000 - $90,000 p.a.
plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
