Mechanical Engineering Technician

Mechanical Engineering Technicians Company: Abcor Pty Ltd Abcor Pty Ltd, located in the Melbourne Northern Suburbs, is seeking mechanical engineering technicians experienced in the use of CAD/CAM software to generate CNC machining programs to join a dynamic team.
There are full-time permanent positions available.
Key Responsibilities Create detailed 2 D and 3 D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD/CAM software.
Transfer computer-generated CAM programs to computer-controlled machine tools.
Validate parts as they are manufactured.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the development and production phases.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience To qualify for this position, you will have: A diploma or higher in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience.
Thorough knowledge and experience in using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Delcam Powermill, and Solidworks.
Experience in troubleshooting and the operation of computer-controlled machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, and wire cut EDM machines.
Haas experience is highly regarded.
Salary $70,000 to $80,000 per annum.
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates, to be discussed with the successful applicant.
