About the Role As a team of RPN5s, lead the development and implementation of the primary mental health response for young people at the Cherry Creek Youth Justice Facility.
Work closely with Orygen (tertiary mental health provider) to facilitate coordinated and comprehensive mental health care.
Undertake primary mental health assessments and risk management interventions within the scope of an RPN5.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide wrap-around, holistic care to the Young People at Cherry Creek.
Build networks across the state to facilitate handover of Young People's mental health care back into their location of origin.
Provide mental health education and leadership across the primary health teams to ensure that all staff are proficient in the delivery of safe mental health care to Young People at Cherry Creek.
