The Role: This Government Regulator is seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to join their team on an ongoing basis to provide leadership and people management while aiding in the development and delivery of multiple strategies for different IT projects.
Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the full life cycle of IT projects to meet commission objectives including: Lead the development of complex business cases and associated procurement activities to progress them through delivery.
Undertake cross-functional resource and stakeholder coordination and facilitate positive collaboration and communication across various teams.
Research, prepare and execute project plans within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
Establish effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, liaise and collaborate with relevant stakeholders and vendors to ensure objectives are met.
Prepare and present quality reports and work briefings in accordance with the project management and governance processes.
Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Mid-Level Project Manager working within the ICT Sector.
Proven experience in business and technology project management, preferably within complex multifaceted environments using both modern COTS systems and legacy products, such as Salesforce or Dynamics 365.
Strong experience working with cross-functional teams and applying structured project management methods, with a specific focus on Agile delivery.
Exceptional ability to immerse and be 'hands-on' across multiple projects whether working directly on tasks or leading technical teams and vendors, ensuring each part of the project contributes to the overall achievement of the project objectives.
Prior experience working within the Public Sector is strongly recommended.
