Position Purpose This role is the driver of strategic growth within SEE's existing customer base and new accounts, achieved via leveraging our wide range of packaging solutions and systems.
In addition to managing an existing portfolio of accounts, the role also targets key market segments aligned to our strategic objectives and works collaboratively to provide solutions that power growth for our customers.
The role leads the back end of business development and ensures that the wider Protective solutions portfolio is positioned for growth, by leading the pipeline management, inventory controls and margin improvement programs for new accounts and channel partners.
Job Description Achieve the new annual new business targets set for the role.
Develop and maintain a strategic business development pipeline for both new and existing accounts by scoping customer business and needs and processes to align SEE's packaging solutions to unlock growth.
Maintain a detailed and accurate pipeline in the Sealed Air CRM (C4 C for Business), ensuring it is updated weekly with lead generation details, correct close and revenue start date and contains all the correct financial information.
Analyse new business opportunities with regards to the total value proposition, including financial savings, labour reduction, efficiency gains, SKU rationalisation, sustainability benefits, etc.
Each proposal must contain full analysis of financial position at standard margin level and include considerations for freight, warehousing and handling.
Develop new business proposals using the provided templates, ensuring they are professional, accurate and in-line with SEE's market leading position as a packaging solutions provider.
Ensure the supply chain for any new business has been studied and achieve alignment with the cross functional stakeholders as to the volume and timing at which any new business gains can be realised without additional costs to SEE.
Development of strategic executive summaries and business cases.
Maintain a pipeline of adjacent markets where SEE's solutions can deliver joint growth.
Achieve the annual sales targets set for these accounts.
Service, maintain and grow a medium size territory of existing accounts.
Develop layered strategic business relationships with key decision makers in our accounts, covering all facets of their organisation; operations, finance, supply chain, procurement, etc.
Create and manage a joint strategic business plan with existing and new accounts that details the plans and goals aligned with the customer's objectives and position SEE for growth.
Develop an agreed customer engagement program, ensuring strategic engagement at all levels of their businesses.
Qualifications Relevant industry specific experience in packaging materials and/or machinery.
Six Sigma certification viewed favourably.
Trade or Tertiary Qualification viewed favourably.
Driver's License.
Q Fever Immunization will be required if access to Fresh red meat processing plants and ensure the health and safety of SEE employee.
