Reporting to and working closely with the MD/Founder & GM, you will be a pivotal member of the senior leadership team in driving the company's expansion. This company holds a market-leading position in many market segments and wants to gain more market share in their existing segments along with developing new markets. In a thriving, yet greenfield environment, you will be responsible for designing go-to-market strategies, establishing systems and processes, designing and managing KPIs, and driving the sales teams to execute. Additionally, there is vast potential to enter new segments with their exciting product ranges. You will spearhead their efforts to enter new segments both across Australia and NZ. You will build the team and the sales capabilities as the company grows. Spearhead and propel the overall sales performance of the company, encompassing the development of a compelling 'Value Proposition' for their customers, sales expansion across both existing and new channels, customer retention, and an increased share of wallet within the current customer base. Mentor, cultivate, and bolster Sales Reps & Account Managers to foster revenue growth from new leads. Offer decisive leadership in introducing new product ranges, offerings, and services to the market. Advance and solidify the company's position as the premier supplier of choice for the products they provide. Encourage collaboration, experimentation, and innovative thinking within the team. Maintain a presence that is active, engaged, and visible to employees, customers, and group companies. Serve as the foremost champion for the business. Maintaining a deep understanding of the industry, marketplace, competition, and the future trajectory of products and technology is crucial to inform, support, and justify decision-making processes. What we're looking for in you...An entrepreneurial mindset, resilient, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with an optimistic view in all you do. A thorough understanding of the home interiors market, emerging trends, colors, fabrics, or other product specification products highly desirable, but not essential. Degree qualifications: Business, Marketing, Sales or MBA - Highly regarded but not essential. Sound background in Sales & Marketing leadership. Good understanding of taking products to market; identifying commercial opportunities. Proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth, through existing & new sales channels. Previous experience and success in Sales and Marketing, product and brand promotions. A track record of nurturing customer and industry relationships, with direct relationship management and broader networking / trade shows.
