About the role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the National Spokesperson will be instrumental in representing the organisation across a range of communication platforms on matters of national significance to the clean energy sector.
The appointee will utilise media channels to enhance public understanding of the benefits of renewable energy, highlighting its positive impact on regional communities and energy prices, while also dispelling myths and addressing misinformation.
Collaborating with the executive leadership team, the role will deliver key messages, promote campaigns, support policy positions and engage with influential stakeholders.
The National Spokesperson will articulate these messages at public events, in broadcast media and across digital channels.
About you You are a proven spokesperson with experience in a public relations, communications, media, government or corporate role, in the clean energy, renewable energy, environmental advocacy, or sustainability sector.
Your expertise in managing media inquiries, delivering key messages, and developing and implementing communication strategies enables you to drive engagement and support organisational goals.
With a track record working with stakeholders, including media, government, industry and community, your portfolio showcases media appearances, press releases, speeches, or other communication materials highlighting your effective storytelling and messaging skills.
Underpinning your experience in crisis communications and navigating sensitive issues, are your knowledge of digital communications, social media, and content creation, enhancing online visibility and engagement.
You excel in collaborative environments and are passionate about contributing to renewable energy initiatives and campaigns.
