Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development) Our available role is a blend of Service & Workforce Coordination.
An ongoing, full-time, office-based position that reports into a Team Leader and General Manager.
The role is unable to support a WFH model at the moment, as the team works closely together in the office.
This role requires a very good understanding of the Disability (NDIS) sector, Core Supports service delivery in-line with NDIA practice standards, and the governance/compliance framework that underpins the work we do in this regulated sector.
The role coordinates and looks after participants and support workers in an allocated area of Melbourne/Victoria and provides guidance for rostered support services that are delivered on a daily basis.
The role conducts supervision with support workers and carries components of HR/performance management to ensure we always provide high-quality services.
The role will work closely with a rostering & compliance coordinator, another service coordinator, and a team administrator.
The role also contributes to recruitment needs and full onboarding of support workers, on demand, co-facilitating inductions when new staff commence with our service.
The role is co-responsible for ensuring that participant files on the database (CRM) are maintained relevant.
They will conduct service reviews, update shift-care plans, and chase up supporting documentation for service delivery.
They will liaise with key personnel and stakeholders relevant to achieving good outcomes for our clients.
The successful applicant will participate in ongoing continuous improvement processes and ensure that the work and service we provide is always 'audit-ready' to a good quality standard and maintain a high standard with relation to record keeping.
They will also participate in team meetings, be solutions-focused, and pick up other divisional responsibilities that fit within this portfolio/program area.
Requirements: MUST have experience working in an office, with an NDIS background, within a professional team, and possess excellent computer and systems ability.
Must have attention to detail, proficient and clear English language, and communication skills via telephone and email.
The role is fast-paced and dynamic.
Must be reliable and available for immediate start.
On-the-job training and daily mentoring are provided, and career progression is available.
If you have a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Community Services / Human Services or similar, this role would be desirable.
Alternatively, if you have grounded experience in the Disability sector (within an office-based role), we will also consider this with high regard in the shortlisting process.
Mandatory: valid working with children's check clearance, worker screen clearance, NDIS worker orientation module certificate, Australian driver's license, and be a permanent resident.
