Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time.5 FTE Rotating Roster On Call 5 weeks leave Hours: 38hrs per fortnight Location: Werribee Mercy Hospital Application: Please upload resume and cover letter Upload with Application: Resume, cover letter, and all relevant qualifications Contact: A/Professor Peter Lange, Email: About the opportunity Werribee Mercy Hospital invites applicants for Neurologists and Rehabilitation Physicians to join our service, in Permanent Part-Time positions available starting September 2024 to February 2025.
The roles are inpatient and outpatient consulting, supporting our team of physicians to care for a variety of neurological presentations.
Expertise in managing stroke is essential to this role.
Full FRACP recognition in the appropriate subspecialty at time of commencement is essential.
Qualifications Current or acquired by the start date recognition as Specialist with RACP and AHPRA (not requiring supervision) What you'll bring You're resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.

To thrive in this role, you will have: Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
