Employer: Stride Mental Health Our Service: headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.
Role Overview: Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.
Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff.
Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients.
General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving.
Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.
Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team.
There may be the requirement to work one evening a week from 10:30am to 7:00pm.
Requirements: Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification.
Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the health/NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds.
Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organisational skills.
Well-developed customer service skills.
Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.
Must have good availability.
Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
A current unencumbered driver's license.
