Job Description - Non-College Work-Study | Student Photographer (STU001906) Department Name: D0039 Human Resources Description: The Student Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that highlight the activities and events hosted by the Office of Human Resources.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a professional portfolio and gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Capture high-quality photographs of events and activities.
Collaborate with HR staff to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
Organize and maintain a digital photo archive for easy access and retrieval.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, lighting, and color.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with HR staff and other departments.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must be a current UHD Student.
Must have a professional camera.
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including some evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in event or portrait photography.
A portfolio showcasing a variety of photography work.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in photography, including knowledge of camera equipment and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
