Your role: Serving as a part time Nurse in the Navy Reserves opens you up to a world of opportunity, experience and training that simply isn't possible in a conventional hospital environment.
Whether you're an acute adult Medical/Surgical, Perioperative, Mental Health, Intensive Care or Emergency Nurse (Nursing Officer), you'll play a key role within a multi-disciplinary team ultimately responsible for ensuring the health of all Navy personnel.
You'll be working in a wide variety of world-class, well-equipped Defence facilities around Australia, on land and at sea.
Additionally, you'll learn to look after the welfare, training and discipline of personnel under your command, gaining lifelong leadership qualities along the way.
This also includes specialist military medicine training.
