What you'll deliver with us Australia Post is committed to supporting our shareholder the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts to deliver the National Mobile Audit in conjunction with Accenture as the Technology partner.
The National Mobile Audit is an initiative that will measure the effectiveness of mobile phone coverage of the major telecommunications providers through the installation of devices on our assets being both vehicles and Post Offices across Australia.
The Operations Consultant will be part of the Project Management Office, which will work with Accenture to organise device installations, removals and swaps between assets to meet the requirements of the program.
Reporting directly into the Head Of Data & AI Partnerships you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project is on track to reach upcoming milestones.
You'll also Adhere to the SLA's within the Agreement between Australia Post and Accenture for the delivery of National Mobile Audit.
Assist in scoping coverage areas and vehicles/Post Offices that are required.
Assist in managing the distribution of data collection devices between assets.
Provide support services to fleet and Post Office staff.
Maintain support materials and operational guides.
Proactive communication with key stakeholders in Retail and Network Operations.
Attend regular project meetings with Accenture and other associated stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of device logs for installation, removal and swaps.
About you We are seeking a highly organised individual who has a background in project or operations coordination.
It is your role to maintain awareness of current Information Security standards and ensure all activities comply with the standards.
Internally you will work with the retail operations, network operations and Data services team to workshop solutions for business problems related to the National Mobile Audit program.
You will act as an intermediary between Accenture and Australia Post, ensuring that both parties are updated on the status of projects, risks, tasks and assets.
You'll also need An advanced understanding of Australia Post or similar logistical operational networks.
Experience working as a Project Coordinator/Operations Consultant within a logistics industry is advantageous.
Understanding of inventory processes and procedures is preferred.
High attention to detail and self-motivated.
Ability to manage relationships with external service providers.
Communication is essential.
You must demonstrate ability to convey messaging using language that is suitable to the target audience.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Atlassian tools including Jira.
