About The Role We are seeking a driven Registered Psychologist to take on a newly developed paediatic clinic based role in Traralgon.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative primary healthcare team, working alongside nurses, GPs, and allied health professionals.
As the clinics first Psychologist, you will play a vital role in shaping the development of the paediatric allied health service.
You will be supported by an experienced NDIS coordinator, and the wider leadership and management team.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will conduct psychological assessments to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
You will provide individual or group therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
You may work with children suffering from a wide rangeof disorders, e.g., ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism, to children seeking to overcome substance abuse, or who are in post-trauma recovery.
You will support clients to develop life skills, social skills, and coping strategies alongside the growing multi-disciplinary team.
Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, support workers, and family members to create comprehensive care plans is also a key part of the role.
This role is open to full time and part time applicants.
