Are you ready to lead a payroll team with precision and flair? We're on the hunt for a talented Payroll Manager to take the reins and ensure our payroll operations are as smooth as clockwork! If you're passionate about transforming payroll from a routine task into a seamless, efficient process, this is the role for you.
Based in our Camberwell office in Melbourne, you'll be joining a tight-knit, social team taking charge of our end-to-end payroll operations.
What You'll Be Doing: Leading the Charge: Take charge of our end-to-end payroll operations and ensure every paycheck is accurate, timely, and delivered with a flourish.
Control & Compliance: Implement and monitor local payroll controls, ensuring compliance with the latest rules and regulations.
Team Management: Oversee and direct payroll procedures, supervise a payroll team, and resolve payroll issues.
Communication & Administration: Handle payroll communications and administration efficiently.
Coaching & Development: Provide direction and coaching to your team, focusing on performance metrics and KPIs.
Continuous Improvement: Review and analyze payroll practices for process improvements.
Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain payroll documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
What We're Looking For: Experience: 10+ years of experience leading a payroll team with a strong understanding of Australian statutory taxes and benefits.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of global payroll best practices.
Leadership: Confident leader able to work with Finance and Operations Directors and provide excellent customer service.
Tech Savvy: Experience with system design and implementation.
Qualifications: Degree in a business-related discipline; CPP certification is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
