The Position: Due to the continued growth of the College, we are seeking a suitably qualified Temporary part-time Payroll Officer to join our Christ-centred community.
The Payroll Officer's primary purpose is to ensure that payroll processing for the College is managed effectively.
This position will take responsibility for the College's payroll system and require all tasks to be performed effectively and efficiently, as required by the needs of the College.
The position is based at the Werribee campus and is set to commence in term 4 this year and will be on a temporary part-time basis.
The Person: Education and Experience: Previous payroll experience of maintaining 400 plus staff is preferred Payroll in a school environment is desirable Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Previous experience with a HRIS Aurion system is advantageous Experience interpreting and applying contracts and awards Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Finance or Business studies would be advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skill set Strong organisational skills Valid WWCC E and Police Check Professional Attributes: Actively contributes to Heathdale Christian College's team culture by the means of displaying humility, a desire for excellence, a strong sense of self-awareness, and collaboration.
