The opportunity As a Payroll Officer, you will be accountable for delivering effective and efficient payroll operations ensuring services are performed on a timely basis.
Working with the Payroll Team Leader, success will be built upon strong relationships with Payroll team members, our homes and Regis stakeholders.
Key responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to: Managing end to end payroll processing for a portfolio of Regis facilities.
Collecting, calculating and entering data to maintain and update payroll information.
Interpretation of various / relevant EBA's, awards and entitlements.
Assisting senior payroll team members with reconciliation and month end procedures and payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations.
Resolving payroll discrepancies and payroll queries, escalating complex issues on a timely basis.
Assist in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of annual statutory returns (e.g.
PAYG Payment Statements, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation Remuneration returns, etc).
What you'll bring to the role: Prior experience of working in a large Payroll function and team will be beneficial.
Experience interpreting multiple complex Awards/Agreements.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience working with Chris21 and Human Force systems, preferred.
Advanced Microsoft suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
