Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) Watson Young Architects is looking for a People & Culture Manager who thrives in a generalist role; with a focus on technical, day to day HR Admin while having the ambition to step into more strategic responsibilities.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in professional services to grow with the support of our experienced HR consultant and make a tangible impact on our People and Culture strategy.
What You'll Do: HR Administration: Own the end-to-end recruitment process, maintain our HRIS (Employment Hero), and manage consistent communication with employees and managers.
Employee Relations: Assist with follow-up and aftercare for ER cases, helping to resolve issues with care and sensitivity.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across all levels, collaborating closely with our leadership team to influence positive outcomes.
Advisory Growth: Begin stepping into strategic areas like EVP development, leadership coaching, and broader HR advisory work as your role expands.
Support: Work alongside our fabulous HR consultant, who will provide oversight and guidance on P&C strategy, complex ER matters, and HR projects.
What We're Looking For: Professional Services Experience: You have a background in HR in professional services and bring a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
Stakeholder Management Skills: You excel at building relationships and managing expectations with employees, managers, and senior leadership.
This includes travel to our interstate offices! Growth Mindset: You're keen to develop from HR admin into advisory duties and are passionate about making an impact.
Bonus: Experience in the Architecture industry is an advantage, though not essential.
