Supported by an experienced team, an exciting new opportunity is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the GV Health Ambulatory Aged Care Program (AACP) team.
This role would be suitable for an experienced Grade 1 ready to transition to a Grade 2 role.
The team is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary team which includes: Clinical team Leaders, Clinical Care Coordinators, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social work, Team Assistants and Speech Pathology services.
The Physiotherapist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to: Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in bed based and home-based settings Work with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and mobility Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop goals and care plans to assist clients to get home and active in their local community Develop exercise programs for clients.
Work with team assistants to implement these programs Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions Undertake teaching and training opportunities with local health services and service providers Participate in student training programs We are looking for: Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership of professional association Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist within acute, subacute or community settings GV Health is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as applicants who are LGBTIQ+, who have different abilities, or are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged.
