Using advanced analytics, knowledge built through years of practical expertise, partnerships with leading researchers, and the courage to experiment, our people are proud to be disruptive influencers amongst the electricity industry.About the Role:We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Engineer, Project Manager or Program Lead with proven delivery experience to join our Plant Maintenance team based at our Market Street CBD head office or one of the other depots on our network, including Brooklyn, Ballarat, Bendigo or Geelong.Reporting to the Manager Electrical Plant Maintenance, this position is responsible for delivering the electrical plant maintenance works program within the Powercor network zone and distribution substations, including compliance with Electricity Networks policies and strategies.This includes ensuring relevant requirements are adhered to, including technical, planning, scheduling, utilizing field resources, and management of priorities and risk.What you will deliver:Manage the preparation, release and delivery of the maintenance works programs in accordance with standards and policies.Monitor the progress of work packages and liaise with service providers to ensure both financial and physical goals and targets are achieved.Manage programs and prioritization to ensure compliance with policy, and ensure risk assessments are completed to manage network priority and risk.Monitor budget and efficiency of delivery, liaising with stakeholders to identify issues and resolve.Manage contracts and procurement required to support the maintenance activities.Advise and lead the program requirements with stakeholders, resolving data, technical or quality issues with the Works Program Delivery team, field resources and others during maintenance works, system faults or defect investigations.Prepare reports on progress, exceptions and variances to the scheduled programs.Oversee data management for all related systems to ensure accurate and auditable records are maintained.To succeed in this role you will have:Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree; Associate Diploma in ESI Power Systems or Project Management degree.Experience as electrical field trade or in the electrical power industry.Delivered high value programs or projects, managing budget, schedule, resourcing, safety and quality.Demonstrated ability to apply program and project management principles in an electrical sub-transmission and distribution environment.Ability to prepare efficient and effective programs for implementation of planned and unplanned works.Working knowledge of plant and stations maintenance methods and activities.Good knowledge of forecasting, planning and/or modelling techniques.Demonstrable practical application of maintenance practices with integration of this into the planning phases of the programs or projects.Experience in electrical plant maintenance and related assets, particularly testing and construction of zone substation plant, regulators, ACR's, kiosks, CBUs or underground cables.Experience in SAP, maintenance management systems and MS Office Suite.Your career with us:We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
