PMO Analyst $125 K Plus Super & Benefits Melbourne Hybrid THE JOB Right hand person to the Programme Manager, working with x3 PM's & a Project Co-Ordinator.
Responsible for capturing, managing and reporting data & improving how the business functions.
You will take an active role in the day to day PMO functions, including enforcing, improving and maintaining the systems, governance frameworks and standard practices and processes of the PMO for the Asia Pacific region.
YOU 3+ years in a PMO Analyst position or similar role You're naturally detail focussed, systematic and great with data! Reporting & data analytics accreditation would be a standout! You effectively plan and love solving challenging problems.
You have Strong Excel (Scripting/Basic VBA Level).
Good Power BI and MS Project.
Understand PMO and Project Governance methodologies.
Understand SDLC lifecycle experience.
Strong business acumen.
Appreciate how financials of a project impact the business.
Prior Financial or bookkeeping experience would standout! DUTIES Have a continuous improvement focus with regards to establishing, maintaining, and enforcing governance frameworks / standards with the PMO and project delivery space.
Capturing, sorting, improving, reporting, and analysing the data outputs from projects.
Gather, track and manage data held in Excel, Power Bi / other databases, and generate reports, dashboards or visualisations of data to extract insights.
Prepare and report monthly financial data for PMO related projects.
Produce forecasts for project and PMO performance based on historical analysis for resource planning, budgeting, and timeline prediction.
Preparing data and reports for the business stakeholders, and the C-suite, with an understanding of the different needs of each.
Drive and maintain the PMO practices, processes, tools, systems and templates consistently and efficiently to optimise use, reduce project related cost, and risks to the Business.
Support the continuous improvement focus with regards to establishing and enforcing governance frameworks and standards within the PMO.
Monitor and manage program and project status, financial data, resource data, and support the financial reporting requirements including identification of profitability and revenue impacts.
