DNV's APAC Power Grid department is looking for a Power System Engineer or Senior Power System Engineer to join our Power System Planning team in Australia.
The team is based in Melbourne.

What will you be doing? As a Power System Engineer, you will contribute to a wide range of projects in Australia and within the Asia Pacific region: You will be working on complex, unique, and rewarding projects such as hybrid renewable projects.
You will be joining an established team of power system engineers working collaboratively together.

We are seeking a candidate experienced in the Australian grid connections process that has experience in completing NER Chapter 5 connection application studies and PSSE and PSCAD software.
Qualifications 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of power system engineering and grid integration of inverter energy systems within Australia.
Proficiency in Power Systems Analysis tools PSSE, and PSCAD.
Python scripting knowledge.
Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client.
Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients.
Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks.
A team player with a proactive attitude.
Familiarity with applicable standards, IEC, IEEE.
Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
