Practice Assistant – Trademarks Get involved in high quality work within a world-renowned Trademark team Work at a top-tier international law firm with excellent benefits on offer As a leading law firm, we actively seek people from diverse backgrounds to enrich our culture About the Role We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Practice Assistant to join our Melbourne Trademarks team, supporting Partner Bill Ladas, as well as the broader Trademarks team.
This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and offers the chance to take initiative and anticipate the needs of the team, leveraging your exceptional organisational skills, billing expertise and attention to detail to stay one step ahead.
Daily duties will vary but will encompass tasks such as billing, legal document management, inbox management, opening and closing a large number of matters, file maintenance, diary management, overseeing financial administration, delivering top client service, and providing general administrative assistance.
About You Minimum of 5 years in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, legal Executive or Legal Secretary) Strong billing experience within a legal or trademarks environment – experience with Elite is highly regarded Ability to handle competing priorities Typing speed of 70+ wpm Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience Well-developed interpersonal skills Who are we?
