Preventative Maintenance And Project Specialist

Facilities Operations Overview Facilities Operations is responsible for construction, operations and maintenance of all facilities on main campus and off campus satellite facilities.
This position maintains and develops the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is being serviced on scheduled intervals to ensure normal lift cycle of equipment in the most efficient way.
Key Responsibilities Project tracking and reconciling for renovation and new construction projects.
Maintains organized online filing for all projects.
Processes, tracking and reconciling of all project costs associated with renovations/new buildings.
Works with Sponsored Programs on grant related projects to ensure proper documentation required is being provided in a timely manner to meet associated deadlines.
Modifies and schedules preventative maintenance for all existing and new equipment with our IDN CMMS software, including roofing systems.
Oversees the proper process and procedures for modifying existing, adding or removing equipment/systems, completing and closing of projects/service requests.
Includes training of internal staff as needed to ensure timeliness of ensuring assets are removed/added.
Emergency Preparedness and Follow-up as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: State of Florida driver's licenses and ability to maintain a good driving record as per Florida Tech's insurance guidelines.
