Core Responsibilities & Duties Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study; Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students; Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards; Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures; Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct; Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools; Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives; Model and promote the vision and values of the school; Teach an area of the curriculum; Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress; Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan; Attend and participate in staff meetings as required; Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
About the Role ACC Echuca is seeking to appoint a full-time Christian Primary Teacher.
The successful candidate will need to have the capacity to: Actively lead the Christian formation of students; Actively lead in delivering Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith; Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and a cross cultural understanding in our students; Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous.
Preference would be given to teachers familiar with an Explicit Instruction model of teaching; Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop student's interests, skills and abilities; and Contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, extra-curricular tasks, and liaising with parents where appropriate.
Requirements About You You have a relevant bachelor degree and any other relevant teaching qualifications (i.e.
Masters of Education).
You have at least 2 years relevant teaching experience.
You are passionate about impacting students' minds and hearts and for providing a safe, supportive learning environment.
