The Position We invite applications from energetic, inspired and proactive Junior School Teachers for a teaching position commencing Term 1, 2025. This position is Fixed Term for 12 months. Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the successful candidate will contribute and integrate themselves positively within the school community. The successful incumbent will hold exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content, be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement. Qualifications and Requirements Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Competent in maintaining assessment records and report on student progress to families. Able to collaborate effectively across the school with other staff, parents and specialists to promote the wellbeing of studentsand deliver a student-centred curriculum using an inquiry approach. Foster a sense of connection and belonging by creating and nurturing a child safe environment that embraces and celebrates inclusivity and diversity. Be proactive with classroom management with the ability to challenge and support students both pastorally and academically. Support the Anglican ethos of the school.
