The Role: Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will design and implement automation to streamline banking operations, enhance customer experiences, and improve overall efficiency.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, develop robust workflows, and ensure the seamless integration of automated solutions.
You will guide the organisation in adopting and optimising automation technologies that align with Bank Vic's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and support automation workflows.
Contribute to the improvement of Bank Vic's policies, systems, and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
Analyse existing processes to identify automation opportunities and propose solutions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, including workflows, procedures, and user guides.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automated solutions to ensure robust performance and reliability.
Problem solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automated processes and provide timely responses and solutions.
Liaise with third-party suppliers for the delivery of solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Significant experience designing and implementing automation workflows using a low-code development platform such as Newgen One, Power Platform, Mendix, etc.
Experience in J2 EE-based technology, client/server web application architectures, consumption of REST and SOAP APIs, development practices, and designing for performance and scalability.
Exposure to Dev Ops, CI/CD, test automation, Git Hub, Postman, AWS, and Azure would be advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and identify automation opportunities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and third-party providers and build strong partnerships.
Experience and knowledge in the banking/financial services industry.
