A great opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join this busy team for a 6-month term assignment.
About The Role Maintaining a practical understanding of procurement and contracting functions and applying relevant legislative and policy guidance.
Undertaking research and analysis activities and drafting initial documentation to support simple to complex procurements.
Providing administrative support to the Procurement team.
Initiating drafting of procurement related documentation.
Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
Contributing to team planning activities and identifying opportunities for improvements.
About You You will collaborate with stakeholders to provide advice and resolve any procurement related compliance or essentials issues.
You will have the ability to deliver support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, the Agency Procurement Policy and procedures, including managing and delivering procurement related compliance reporting.
You will have the ability to maintain appropriate records management.
You will support continuous improvement projects where required, including and not limited to, drafting of project documentation, registers, etc.
You will have the ability to assist and undertake procurement reporting and verification activities, and processing procurements through the financial management system.
You will have the ability to monitor and progress work area activities and achieve work area objectives.
You will have the ability to provide administration assistance to the team and have good organisational skills.
