The Impact You'll Make; We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development Engineer to lead the execution of Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) projects. The role demands a proactive and highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with relevant experience in designing products for civil, commercial and industrial applications; ensuring full-scope, on-time, and on-budget project delivery while modelling industry-leading technical innovation within our R&D team. About You; Drive the design, development, and delivery of new product pipeline projects and initiatives Lead projects and initiatives from concept through completion, managing development work to strict timelines and budgets Adopt an 80/20 mindset and ensure alignment with the Customer-Back Innovation framework to achieve top-tier results Utilise industry-leading tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, DFx, Root Cause Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Six Sigma Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle Engage with cross-functional project stakeholders to manage scope, time, cost, and risk As a senior engineer, mentor and coach R&D team members, fostering their professional growth and strengthening overall team capabilities Ensure all project deliverables meet relevant standards, codes, and internal guidelines, adhering to the highest performance criteria and industry practices Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), with professional registration or eligibility is highly desirable What We Offer: Opportunity to lead cutting-edge innovation projects A collaborative and growth-focused environment within a leading R&D team Competitive salary and benefits package In order to apply for this role, it is essential you reside in Australia and have full-working rights.
