As a Product Manager in the Vision Systems division, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of Shield AI's innovative Vision Systems products.
You'll work closely with the Product Strategy Director, cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Business Development, Customer Success and Marketing, to develop, launch, and manage products that meet the evolving needs of Shield AI's customers.
What you'll do: Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to validate existing and new market segments, identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the Vision Systems industry.
Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and business development teams to define product requirements, user features, and specifications.
Product Launches: Develop and execute product launch plans, provide guidance for developing marketing materials, sales enablement tools, and go-to-market strategies.
Product Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, from development to post-launch support, ensuring product success and customer satisfaction.
Data Analysis: Analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, gathering feedback and addressing their needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with teams across the organization to ensure alignment and efficient product development.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in product management, preferably in the electro-optical or infra-red (EO/IR) sensors, radar, aviation, space or defense or related industry.
Strong understanding of the aerospace sensor industry and its key players.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with product management tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Experience with Agile methodologies will be beneficial.
