Program Analyst Start Date: 14 October 2024 Length: 12 months + 2 x 6-month extensions Location of work: ACT, SA, VIC Role Responsibilities: Preparing Portfolio Financial Reports.
Coordinating the preparation of new funding bids and reporting.
Running end of month and end of financial year reconciliation processes.
Governance and reporting and Quality check of project reports and artefacts.
Provide advice and feedback to Project Managers.
Secretariat of governance groups.
Develop/update templates and processes.
Assist with continual improvement of existing processes/templates or developing new ones.
Provide feedback and enforce use of templates and standard processes.
Staff on-boarding: assist with on-boarding and induction of new PMs and project resources.
Monitor and provide feedback to PMs on all artefacts and deliverables (as required).
Assist with Project Resource Management (as required).
Assist with procurement and contracting (as required).
Quality assurance and Quality check of risk management plans.
Assist in mitigation and resolution of issues and provide feedback to Project Managers.
Key Experience: Experience with Portfolio Financial Reports, coordinating the preparation of new funding bids and reporting, and running end of month and financial year reconciliation processes.
Strong governance and reporting experience and ability to quality check project reports and artefacts, and provide advice and feedback to Project Managers.
Experience with Secretariat governance groups developing/updating templates/processes.
Excellent continuous improvement mindset and ability to improve existing processes and templates or assist in the development of new ones.
