Program Director

Full time $180k - $220k p.a. + negotiable for the right candidate Ayan Infotech is looking for a Program Director for a full-time permanent job opportunity with one of our IT Services and Consulting clients in Melbourne.Due to the nature of the work involved, all applicants must have full unrestricted work rights in Australia.Title: Program DirectorLocation: Melbourne (Must be based in Melbourne)Type: Full time, permanent Required Skills and Experience: We are seeking a Program Director who understands the customer relationship and delivery obligations.Candidate must have: Led large scale development projects, particularly on VB.net and have worked on a product platform. Able to manage a team of 70 - 80 staff (on and offshore) This is essential. Liaise with existing senior team leads, offshore program managers and other stakeholders in an offshore - onsite model. This is very important. Good communication skills with the ability to navigate through and overcome any obstacles through sound judgement and collaboration. Experience in the finance and more specifically in superannuation will be a HUGE advantage. Other highlights: The role will commence with development activities and then expand into other areas. Applicants must come from an IT Development background and should have grown organically into a Program Leadership position. Strictly Melbourne based. Essentially a candidate that has grown up the ranks and has sound knowledge in the BFSI sector, good development experience and can manage an onsite offshore setup.
