Program Manager – Cost Optimisation As the Program Manager in a leading logistics company, you will be a key driver of operational excellence, focused on identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve logistics performance, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
With a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, you will lead cost-out initiatives across our logistics operations, ensuring that processes are streamlined, expenses are reduced, and service levels are elevated leveraging technology to drive these efficiencies.
Working closely with the Senior Transformation Manager and cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in optimising business performance and ensuring the organisation remains competitive and cost-effective in a dynamic market.

THE ROLE: Lead and manage cost optimisation projects with a focus on reducing expenses and increasing profitability.
Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives that drive business performance.
Analyse current business processes, system dependencies and identify inefficiencies and develop strategic improvement plans.
Create and execute cost-out strategies, ensuring resource allocation, budget adherence, and project timelines are met.
Monitor and report on cost savings, productivity gains, and business performance improvements to senior management.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value while maintaining quality and performance.
Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful implementation of cost-saving measures throughout the organization.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Expertise in cost reduction strategies, expense management.
Ability to assess complex data, identify cost drivers, and make informed decisions to improve financial performance.
Strong planning, execution, and oversight of cost optimisation projects and system improvements and technologies ensuring on-time delivery.
Bachelor's degree in business information systems, Project Management, or a related field.
10+ years of project management experience, with a focus on holistic business efficiency.
Strong understanding of cost management & lean methodologies.
Extensive experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and process improvement.
To be successful, you must be someone who works collaboratively with the team and can adapt to high pressure environments.
You need to be a people person that can easily build relationships and ensure the desired outcome is achieved.
