The Role: Are you passionate about sports, aquatic activities, and creating engaging experiences for children? At the State Sports Centres' flagship venue, MSAC, we're searching for a dedicated Programs Officer to join our Children's Programs team.
This role is integral to our team, ensuring every child, regardless of ability, enjoys a memorable, safe, experience.
Ideal for aspiring teachers, childcare professionals, coaches, or anyone with a sports-driven mindset, this position offers the opportunity to coach, guide, and inspire children in Melbourne's premier sports venue.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include: Engage positively with children, parents, guardians, and teachers Deliver high-quality programs with a focus on safety and inclusivity Adhere to equipment management standards and report discrepancies Actively participate in all team meetings, shifts, and training sessions Maintain up-to-date qualifications and attend mandatory trainings Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent program excellence Respond promptly to any incidents and maintain safety standards Enforce rules in line with the Children's Programs procedures Champion full participation for all children Promote health and safety through structured activities Required Qualifications: Pool Lifeguard Certificate CPR certificate Current First Aid certificate Valid Working with Children's Check Why is this a great place to work?
