Job Description The Opportunity We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our global biomedical client.
The role is to support the development and implementation of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility here in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The Role The scope of the project is to deliver compliant, fit for purpose manufacturing facilities and processes across multiple sites with licensure targeted from 2026.
The Project Engineer will provide support for all project deliverables associated with Construction and HVAC for the new facility.
This will be achieved as a key leader and contributor in the project team to deliver the project milestones within budget, collaborating closely with project and business leaders/teams to manage facility and equipment design, construction, qualification/validation, and licensure of the facilities and manufacturing processes for future business operations.
Main Responsibilities: Supporting aspects of construction and HVAC works Design Qualification Equipment FATs Off-site Fabrication and On-site installation of equipment SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) Commissioning of the Equipment Qualification of the graded room/facilities Driving value engineering initiatives and maintaining strategic engagement across multiple local and global business groups.
Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably in the mechanical discipline) from a recognised tertiary educational institution A minimum of three years relevant experience, preferably in a project and/or manufacturing environment.
HVAC experience Experience in commissioning and qualification Experience in generating documents for commissioning and qualification Experience in change control Seeking someone who is hands-on Ability to work independently Able to troubleshoot and solve problems Regulated industry experience advantageous Strong stakeholder management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
