We have an exciting opportunity to join the Performance Strategy team on a fixed-term full-time basis as our Project Lead - Workforce Implementation and Integration.
This is a flexible role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About the Role Paralympics Australia (PA) are seeking a skilled Project Lead with expertise in People Management and Workforce Planning to oversee a project aimed at scaling up Paralympics Australia's workforce to support the increased demands brought about by new strategic investments.
This includes the implementation of a National Classification system and the expansion of Pathways capability to support our partners delivery of Pathways programs.
The project will focus on recruiting new talent, integrating new hires into the organisational structure, and ensuring the workforce operates effectively and cohesively.
Additionally, this project will support the organisation's change management to align with the expanded scope of responsibilities.
Key areas of responsibilities will include: Project Management & Delivery Workforce Planning & People Management: Stakeholder Engagement: Compliance & Reporting: Team Leadership: Risk and Financial Management: Quality Assurance To be successful in this role you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering government grants or publicly funded programs.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with successful outcomes.
Experience working with government agencies and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
