The role: This is a Precontracts role that will cross over into Delivery, for a seasoned Project Manager or Senior PE from a mid-tier background / Tier 2 background.
While working in the Precontracts team you will help lead and coordinate key bids, managing the tender process with a small team.
You will also have the opportunity to deliver and manage a team on the projects you have helped to secure.
Your impact: Your on-site expertise and background in delivery will influence our Precontracts team and lead to efficient outcomes.
Your every day: Leading and managing the Bid Management process in conjunction with the wider Precontracts team.
Understanding the tender documents and evaluation criteria, to ensure that resources are allocated to meet the requirements.
Assigning tender responsibilities and ensuring that the team is accountable for their tasks.
Developing efficient methodologies and driving value management solutions to achieve a winning tender strategy.
Managing and supporting the post tender negotiation process, working closely with our client.
When in delivery phase, managing site safety, environmental and quality compliance.
Maximizing profitability while ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time.
Who are you? Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
A minimum of 7+ years' experience in construction cost planning, tendering or project delivery working on diverse tenders/projects across Civil & Infrastructure Projects.
Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects in excess of $10 million.
Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently.
Experience with Expert Estimation software is an advantage.
