About the role As a Merchandise Project Manager – Critical Path at Officeworks, you'll be pivotal in overseeing the entire process from range assortment planning to inventory arrival.
Your role involves managing and coordinating critical path activities to ensure stock arrives on time and in the right place.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, address any issues that arise, and streamline processes to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness.
This role will operate in a hybrid manner, 3 days a week, from our Support Office in Chadstone, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities: Critical Path Coordination: Manage project timelines from planning to inventory arrival.
Ensure all tasks and deliverables are met using Monday.com, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify improvement areas.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to align on roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
Resolve any concerns or conflicts efficiently.
Manage expectations and resources effectively.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and address issues along the critical path, implementing corrective actions and contingency plans as needed.
Process Improvement: Enhance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Communicate with senior management on issues and resolutions.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to organisational policies and standards.
Implement governance frameworks and report on compliance metrics.
About you Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred• At least 2 years of experience in project management or project coordination particularly in retail or supply chain environment• Proven track record in managing complex projects and critical paths• Strong stakeholder engagement and risk management skills• Experience with inventory management and supply chain systems, including Relex or similar tools• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills Technology Used: Relex, Microsoft Office, Monday.com, SAP BW, ERP Smartsheet Our culture It's all in a day's work when you're part of the Officeworks community – where you're not defined by who you are, but what you can do.
