Detalles de la oferta

In Melbourne, water is essential to our way of life.
As caretakers for Melbourne's water cycle, we care for water, life and land throughout Melbourne: both its people and its biodiversity.
Each time you drink from the tap, flush a toilet, run through a backyard sprinkler, or kayak down the Yarra—we're there.
Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world's cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home —just as we have for over 130 years.
If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what's right, you're in the right place.
About the Role Reporting to the Head of Service Enablement, Catchments & Waterways - Jo Hunt, this is a pivotal role within a newly formed project team spanning across the Service Delivery and Service & Asset Lifecycle portfolios.
As the Project Manager you will be accountable for delivering Project Headway (the project) in accordance with the Project Brief.

Determine budget requirements to undertake one off costs and on-going costs e.g.
programmed, corrective & breakdown maintenance requirements.
On-completion of the above, develop a business case and present it back to the business for budget requirements and subsequent approval.
As a leader on the project, you will oversee and coordinate a small team of technical specialists and together successfully deliver Project Headway.
The project team will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, utilising both Service Provider and other business support functions to deliver the project safely, efficiently, on time, to budget and meet the required business quality and outcome requirements.
Our successful candidate will take full ownership of the project.
It goes without saying you will engage your reliable end-to-end project management and project delivery skills such as project scheduling and tracking, progress reporting, anticipating project delivery issues and recognising and prioritising urgent and priority actions.
You have a professional reputation amongst your managers and colleagues who can attest to your ability for seeing projects through to completion and delivery.
You have a customer service orientation in developing relationships with stakeholders, recognising that Melbourne Water supports service providers.
Your stakeholder engagement skills will only be complemented by your excellent communication skills.
At all times you appropriately manage expectations, communicate progress, manage risks and keep management abreast if any roadblocks occur.
You will lean into your technical expertise, and you will be asked for your solutions to resolve setbacks and find a way forward.
Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary degree (e.g.
Science or Engineering) or equivalent.
Experience with asset management related to waterway, drainage and/or stormwater quality treatment assets.
