Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-Operative – Corporate Services has the following vacancy: Project Officer - Full-time, 38 hours a week This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander designated position, classified under Section 12 Special Measures of the Equal Opportunity Act (2010).
About the Role: Deliver comprehensive, high-level project support across Rumbalara's service areas and leadership to ensure seamless execution of programs, events, and projects in alignment with the strategic plan.
This role strengthens project governance, enhances management processes, builds capacity, and maintains top-tier documentation.
It also plays a key role in driving communication, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination, closely aligned with communications, people and culture, and client service teams.
About You: To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities: Tertiary qualifications in health, business administration, or management (preferred), or relevant substantial experience.
Proven project management, business planning, and change management skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation abilities.
Research and investigation skills, with the ability to present recommendations.
Knowledge of Funding Agreements and Accreditation processes.
Experience liaising with diverse stakeholders, clients, and staff.
Proven success in policy development and managing projects from start to finish.
Strong task management and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary client service teams, with a focus on continuous improvement.
What We Offer: Competitive pay and conditions – ACCHS Award, Grade 5: $41 to $48 per hour (above Award rates).
Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.
