Project Support Officer Cyber Security

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Project Support Officer Cyber Security. The successful candidate will assist the Coordinator IT with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's cyber security strategy to protect Council's information systems, sensitive data, and critical assets. This role involves progressing cyber security initiatives, overseeing incident response efforts, and fostering a culture of cyber security awareness throughout the organisation.
Reporting to Coordinator IT, the role's responsibilities include assisting with the development and implementation of a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with Council's business objectives.
This is a fixed term part time role for a period of three months. Remuneration will be based on Band 5 classification $71,717.66 per annum pro rata (36.2944 per hour) plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2022.
