The role Reporting to the National Director and as a member of the national leadership team, the Province Director (PD) serves as the diocesan leader and representative, creating engagement opportunities and being the conduit between Catholic Mission and the Catholic Church Community.
This key leadership role will work closely with local Archbishops and Bishops to implement national programs and build the presence and influence of Catholic Mission across the (arch) dioceses of Melbourne, Sale, Sandhurst, Ballarat and Hobart.
Primary objectives of the role are: Strengthen the presence and impact of Catholic Mission within the dioceses, fostering both pastoral and financial support for CM's programs.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, supporters and donors to enhance the delivery of CM's fundraising and formation programs.
Lead and coordinate the efforts of Diocesan Directors across the Victorian/Tasmanian province.
The organisation Catholic Mission partners with developing communities around the world, helping them to flourish by supporting grassroots projects, including healthcare, education, faith formation, and being an active voice for human rights.

What You Bring The ideal candidate for the Province Director role will be a practising Catholic with a deep understanding of Catholic values, principles of social justice, Catholic social teaching and global mission.
You Will Have Knowledge of the Catholic Church structure and an appreciation for fundraising.
Ideally tertiary qualifications in Theology, Education, Fundraising, Management, or Marketing.
More than 5 years of professional experience in the Catholic Church or related sectors such as education, marketing, events or fundraising.
Proven ability to build strong relationships within the Catholic community and experience in people leadership.
