The Role Based at their Laverton facility, as a fixed term 12-month contract with the possibility to transition to permanent, responsibilities include: Overseeing quality and food safety systems, including FSSC, GMP, HACCP, and compliance with external standards.
Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, then implementing appropriate corrective actions to close any gaps that need addressing.
Drive continuous improvement in the production process, quality assurance and quality control to boost efficiency.
Facilitate workshops, and promote and champion quality culture and improvement onsite.
Maintain and update relevant systems and documentation, ensuring accuracy whilst also continuing to redefine the best approach in gathering and reporting data.
Collaborate across various stakeholders to implement performance improvement and effectively roll-out quality initiatives.
Your Background To be successful in this role, you will have: 5+ years' experience in a similar role Food manufacturing experience Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Technology or equivalent Strong communication and influencing skills Strong knowledge of process and production, as well as GFSI, HACCP and GMP Demonstrated achievements in continuous improvement processes, with lean six sigma proficiency being desirable What's On Offer?
