Dare to make an impact? YOUR ROLE Supervise day-to-day activity for approximately 12 direct reports.
Perform the project management function for the group including resource planning, objective setting, communication of issues, and reporting project progress to the Quality Manager.
Serve as the Quality liaison with internal customers for projects in all stages of development.
Manage rejects and blocked stock dispositions.
Relay lab results to appropriate personnel.
Maintain training requirements and records for all Technicians.
Ensure Measurement System Analysis (MSA) are completed on the lab equipment.
Responsible for all calibration/verification for the site.
Understand and follow all initiatives and processes for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 regulations, procedures, and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.
YOUR SKILLS Associate degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including college lab coursework.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality or related function required.
Automotive industry experience preferred.
Experience in SAP.
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
Able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced setting.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and effectively manage time.
Attention to detail skills to improve workplace productivity, efficiency, and performance.
The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00.
This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may also be modified in the future.
