Gouge linen and garment services is seeking a dedicated Safety and Quality Officer to join our HR and Compliance team in Mooroopna, Victoria. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality across our laundry and dry-cleaning services operations. Providing support and counsel on matters related to safety and quality. Coordination of safety training in line with an annual training plan and requirements. Administration of the site chemical management system. Maintaining accurate records of all safety aspects. Overseeing the site safety committee and leading site safety meetings as required. Participation in investigations related to non-conformance and root cause analysis. Maintaining, monitoring, and assisting in the close-out of NCRs and corrective actions raised from internal audits and from other sources. Supporting the development of policies, procedures, standards, toolbox talks, and practices. What we are looking for...An individual with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with a strong attention to detail. Proven ability to collaborate, consult, and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Proven organisational skills with the ability to balance competing demands, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines. Exposure to coordination and delivery of training to various levels of staff. MINIMUM - Certificate IV in a relevant discipline related to health and safety. A proven sound understanding of quality management and the ISO 9001 Standard.
