We have an opportunity available for managing projects in our Cost Planning department: Qualified Quantity Surveyor (2+ years exp) or Senior Quantity Surveyor (6+ years exp) To be successful in this role, the candidate must have excellent working knowledge of Cost X, have solid experience in Cost Planning services and be willing to take on projects from commencement to completion. You will be required to undertake the duties of a Quantity Surveyor including: Undertaking detailed measurement and pricing Preparing preliminary and detailed estimates Analysing estimate components and advising clients on cost alternatives or design solutions Working as a part of a team to achieve project outcomes Building client and stakeholder relationships Undertaking site inspections Preparing Progress Claims and undertaking assessments Qualities and experience: Attention to detail and methodical approach to work Relevant Tertiary Qualifications Proficient with Cost X and construction methodologies Solid understanding of the Life Cycle Cost Analysis and the tender process AIQS or RICS membership preferred MUST have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in the Australian market Successful, enthusiastic, keen to succeed Excellent telephone and communication skills Excellent computer skills and knowledge of electronic measurement systems This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working on a variety of projects and is looking to advance their career.
