Registered Nurse - Day Cancer Care - Ongoing 0.4 EFT Job posted: 09/10/2024 Organisation: The Royal Children's Hospital Occupation: Medical and Nursing Reference: 12440 Closes: 04/11/2024 Salary Range: $71,000 - $95,000 The Role This role is a Part Time ongoing position within the Day Cancer Centre (DCC) where you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical practice and delivery of care is consistent with RCH and Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board standards.
You will provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based practice to facilitate optimal health outcomes for our patients.
This opportunity within the DCC will use your integrated health care knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective care.
We offer excellent professional development to enhance your nursing practice and conduct comprehensive and systematic nursing assessments to improve the quality of our nursing care.
What you'll achieve: Fulfil duty of care by practicing within scope of practice in accordance with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board guidelines Demonstrate your analytical skills in assessing and evaluating health information Participate in quality improvement activities Plan nursing care in consultation with others (i.e.
multidisciplinary health care team) Your skills and experience: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional practice Portfolio Other requirements: Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain Valid Working with Children Check Application process To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
