Are you an ICU Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Supportive team environment Casual opportunities available with expectation of 1 shift a week at least Due to the second stage of our expansion, Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurses for their Intensive Care Unit, in a full, part-time, or casual capacity.
Suitable applicants will require at least 3 years' experience working in a critical care environment.
Ideally, you will hold a post graduate qualification in critical care nursing or be willing to work towards it in the future.
If you meet these criteria, we would love to hear from you! We offer scholarship support for post graduate studies as we are invested in supporting the future development of all staff at Knox.
About us Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 31 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our dedicated, 14 Bed, standalone Intensive Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute surgical, cardiac, and medical procedures and conditions.
Supported by an education team, we provide ongoing training and development, including post graduate education and advanced practice courses.
Our Intensive Care Liaison Nurse provides additional resource within the department and outreach support for the broader hospital.
As a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit your responsibilities will include: Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centred patient care.
Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum.
Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care/Intensive Care, or 3 years' experience in ICU.
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer focused.
Flexibility to work a full rotating roster.

For any questions, please reach out to If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the 'Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025' (salaries range between $34.56 and $46.22 per hour).
