About this Role: As a Registered Nurse in a correctional facility, you will deliver high-quality mental health care, ensuring the wellbeing of individuals in a secure environment. This role requires a compassionate, patient-centered approach, balancing clinical expertise with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Provide mental health assessments and interventions for individuals in custody. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring holistic treatment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage complex cases. Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols within the facility. Key Requirements: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Experience in mental health nursing, with strong clinical skills. Ability to work effectively within a correctional setting. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
