About Role Job Title: Peri-operative Nurse Location: Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria Job Type - Permanent Full or Part Time Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Anaesthetic/PACU Nurse to join our dynamic team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide care to a diverse patient population, including paediatric patients.
You will have the chance to expand your skills and knowledge in specialised areas such as ocular oncology and Cochlear implant surgery.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality peri-operative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and effective environment for patients and staff.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Previous experience in anaesthetic and recovery nursing is highly desirable.
